Calpe and the surrounding area have long been known as a cycling region par excellence. Many professional cyclists, amateur cyclists and cycling tourists have rode many kilometers here. The region has a very extensive choice of bicycle networks varying from slightly hilly to tough climbing.
Besides being an ideal cycling region, Calpe is also known for its beautiful promenade along one of the Costa Blanca’s most beautiful beaches. Here you can relax on one of the many lovely terraces after a bike tour. There are also plenty of sights or important cities in this region such as e.g. Benidorm, Guadelest, Valencia, Cabo de la Nao, Alicante, etc… .
